Neurobiology of Memory Laboratory at the University of San Diego
Our lab explores the biological mechanisms of memory behavior and cognition using rodents as a model system. We investigate memory function and dysfunction using tightly controlled as well as more naturalistic and ecologically valid behavioral tasks combined with precise stereotaxic, neurosurgical manipulations and detailed histological processing. We are particularly interested in understanding how the brain processes the critical features of time and space in memory formation and retrieval.

Kumeyaay Land Acknowledgement
Our lab would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather when on campus is the traditional and unceded territory of the Kumeyaay Nation. We want to pay respect to the citizens of the Kumeyaay Nation, both past and present, and their continuing relationship to their ancestral lands.
